Affordable Housing Development Intern
My current internship with the San Diego Community Housing Corporation immerses myself into a hands on experience in the real estate field.

Collaborating with the team these past 6 months, I have gained insights into the various facets of the development process, comprehending the diverse responsibilities associated with each branch of the industry. As I work on projects and tasks, I expand upon my problem-solving skills and develop a unique skill set typically not attainable in a classroom setting.

For over a year, I've been a dance instructor at Ooh La La Dance Academy. This role enables me to share my passion for dance and teach kids the beauty of discipline and artistry. Witnessing my students' growth and progress is incredibly rewarding, and I take great joy in motivating them to always strive for their best. This job holds significant place in my heart, and I am profoundly grateful for the chance to act as a mentor and inspire many young children.
Serving as the dance team captain has provided me with an abundance of valuable leadership experiences. It has not only boosted my confidence but also sharpened my ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals. For me, leadership means not only guiding a team to success, but actively listening to each team member along the way. I take pride in my capacity to listen and collaborate, skills that are equally vital in the workplace. Furthermore, this role has instilled in me a discipline in which I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
